Amy Seltzer
Amy Seltzer is a Wealth Manager and Partner at Modern Private Wealth Advisors, formed in 2024 when Seltzer Financial Strategies, LLC merged with Webber Advisors. Known for her tenacious problem‑solving, precise analytical thinking, and clear communication, Amy has built a career centered on elevating the client experience and delivering meaningful, lasting value. Her leadership and ability to simplify complexity have helped her form trusted relationships with individuals and families across the region.
Before founding Seltzer Financial Strategies, Amy co‑founded Equity Concept North and served as Chief Financial Officer of Modern Communications/Personal Communications, her family’s multistate communications business and one of the last privately owned paging companies in the country.
Her success in the financial services industry - an industry historically dominated by men - has positioned her as a mentor and advocate for countless women seeking financial confidence and independence. Amy holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses and is registered and has clients in 22 states.

A dedicated community leader, Amy supports numerous charitable, educational, and civic organizations focused on helping children and families in need, and enriching local arts and athletics. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and resides in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending time with her children and six grandchildren.
Amy has held many notable professional affiliations, including serving as the first woman in 101 years on Lafayette Life Insurance Company’s Field Advisory Committee, a founding member of WE‑LEaD through the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, and contributing to various boards throughout the region.
Her work has earned significant recognition, including multiple appearances on the Top 100 People in Central Pennsylvania, Best 50 Women in Business in Central Pennsylvania, and Women Making a Difference lists. She is also a recipient of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce Athena Award and serves on the Giorgio Foundation Board of Directors.
