Jennifer Eckenrode
Jen graduated with a B.S. from Slippery Rock University. Through her job experience she has gained proficiency in program management, working in administration as well as with budget management. With nearly a decade in the retirement plan industry, her focus is serving the individualistic needs of each plan on her book of business.
Jen works as a administrator for Retirement Plan Solutions where it is her job to complete annual plan year administration. Part of that includes communicating with various trust companies to process routine plan maintenance tasks for our shared clients. Plans are like people and each has its own unique needs.
At Modern Private Wealth
Jen’s role as a consultant is to provide annual plan valuation in order to prepare the required tax filings for plans as dictated by tax law. Part of this includes performing reconciliation of assets and determining participant plan eligibility to ensure plan compliance within IRS law. Loan processing and distribution authorization on a participant level are also part of daily workload.
She supports clients by providing required nondiscrimination testing and corrective actions in order to maintain plan compliance. With a focus on timely customer service, she assists clients in meeting all IRS and DOL deadlines to maintain plan compliance. This requires working closely with employers, financial advisors, and service providers to ensure retirement plans operate efficiently and remain compliant with federal requirements.
